This is a collection of photos captured through the camera by Thomas Wimberly in 1958-59. Deyoung went from being an outlying, discontigous, small city street to Illinois new Route 13 and one of the towns largest arteries in only a couple of years. Continue reading →

Names were often spelled differently back in time due to illiteracy and transcription errors. Consider all possible spellings of a last name. For instance, Maynard could also be Manard, Menard, Maynerd or Mainard.
