Barney Boren 1923-2001Barney Boren, age 78, died at 3:50 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin with the Rev. Paul E. Tirey officiating. Burial will be in the Herrin City Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the VFW and American Legion Posts. Continue reading →
