1892, September 13, Lot 2, Block 6 of Gallagher & Aikman’s Addition to the plat of Vicksburg purchased for $100 by Benjamin H. & Mary Ann Jeter. Vicksburg was an outlying unincorporated village of Marion at the time.

1892, November 29, the Jeter’s borrowed $1,200 to build the unique, two story home on their lot. The couple had 15 children in the marriage. Ben died in 1921 and Mary Ann passed away in 1922.

1922, November 23, Ed D. Jeter, their son and his wife Ada Jeter sold the home to J. Bun, a coal miner, and his wife Susan for $3,333.24 who lived in the home until 1943.

1943, November 10, Susan Frey sold to Lawrence Ward for $1,500 who doesn’t appear to have ever lived there.

1944, January 29, Lawrence Ward sold to Richard & Iva Cloud for $1,500 who lived in the home until 1965. The home sat vacant in 1966-67. In 1968, the home was then occupied by Dean & Charlene Haseker Sr., likely as a rental until they purchased it in 1973.

1965, August 11, Richard & Iva Cloud sold to Jack R. & Sandra Taylor for $10 who on the same day sold to John W. & Avis A. Saul for $10.

1973, September 28, John W. & Avis A. Saul sold to Dean & Charlene Haseker Sr. for $10, who live in the house until 1981.

1983, September 21, the Haseker’s lost possession of the home to the Bank of Egypt.

1983, November 14, the Bank of Egypt sold the home to George R. & Marian K. Pritchett.

1986, Mary 16, George & Marian Pritchett sold the home to David Dittlinger

1982-87, Vacant

1988 David & Mary Ann Dittlinger lived in the home until 2008.

2009-2011, the house was listed as vacant

2012, The Dittlinger’s sold to Emily M. York who still resides in the home.
